Diode-Pumped solid state laser- 532nm
- Clinically Proven: Ideal for a large variety of retinal conditions with melanin as the target chromophore
- Immediate Visible Tissue Response: Allows precise administration of laser power
Diode-Pumped solid state laser- 560nm
- Accurate Targeting: Selectively absorbed by melanin rich cells of RPE reducing retinal toxicity
- Closer Approach: Significantly increases the safety margins for macular treatment with immediate access to fovea when compared to other wavelengths
- Reduced Power: Typically requires 50% less power to achieve the same therapeutic effects as conventional green laser photocoagulation

Diode-Pumped solid state laser- 579nm
- Accurate Targeting: Selectively absorbed by melanin rich cells of RPE reducing retinal toxicity
- Closer Approach: Significantly increases the safety margins for macular treatment with immediate access to fovea when compared to other wavelengths Reduced Power: Typically requires 50% less
- power to achieve the same therapeutic effects as conventional green laser photocoagulation
Diode-Pumped solid state laser- 588nm
- These 3 different wavelengths are good choices for optogenetics applications.

![](https://lasercenter.nycu.edu.tw/wp-content/uploads/002.png)
- Ideal Properties for Hard Tissue Treatment
- Clinically proven to be the most ecacious and ecient wavelength for enamel, dentin, and bone ablation procedures
- Er:YAG laser is considered the safest laser wavelength as its laser energy is mostly absorbed in the metamorphosis of water molecules

- Minimally Invasive Soft Tissue Procedures
- Ablates only the surface of the irradiated soft tissue
- Produces the least collateral thermal damage when compared to Nd:YAG and CO lasers
- Promotes shortest recovery time and optimal clinical results
